Symptom
Unable to access hyperlink of inserted sub-report in primary Crystal report
Environment
- Crystal Reports 2008
Reproducing the Issue
- Launch Crystal Reports 2008 Designer.
- Create a new Crystal report [main_doc].
- Create another Crystal report [sub_doc] with Cross tab and setting hyperlink in the cell.
- Insert report [sub_doc] into the PH section of report [main_doc].
- Save and then open the report [main_doc] from InfoView.
=>Hyperlink in inserted sub-report [sub_doc] cannot be accessed.

Cause
The behavior is by design as the sub-report has been inserted to primary report as one object.
It's impossible to access the separated component in sub-report.

Resolution
Workaround: Click the link to sub-report in primary report and access the hyperlink in sub-report directly.
