When trying to delete the Industry type 92 (Public Administration) in the Maintain Industries activity in Business Configuration work center, system throws below error message:
- 'Value 92 in setting Deferred Tax Configuration must also be entered in setting Industry Sector'
- 'Save Failed'

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Business Configuration work center
- Select Implementation Projects view
- Select Open Activity List button
- Select Fine-Tune chevron
- Open General Business Partners activity
- Select Edit financial reporting structures link
- Select Maintain Industries link
- Select Industry 92 (Public administration) and select Delete button
- Select Save button
Cause
Industry type 92 (Public Administration) is delivered with all ByD Systems and it is mainly used for the system scoped for country Italy. It is not possible to delete this Industry type, even if this type is not used for Business Partners and your system is not scoped for Italy.
Other countries might use this Industry type or reference to it. A deletion could cause Business Configuration inconsistencies.
Resolution
The system works as designed. You may rename it with "do not use" or similar.
