Symptom
All the data should be displayed correctly when Xcelsius consumes BI service created in WebI Rich Client.
When a Break is included in report block that is published as a BI Service from WebI Rich Client only the rows up to the first break are shown when the service is used in Xcelsius.
Environment
- BI 4.0 SP2
- Dashboard designer 4.0 SP2
Reproducing the Issue
1. Create a Web Intelligence document using Rich Client on eFashion, selecting the objects: Year, Quarter, Sales revenue
2. Insert a break on Year
3. In the total row for each break enter the text "Sum" in the Quarter column and the formula =Sum([Sales revenue]) in the Sales revenue column
4. Remove the row between each break and remove the header rows
5. Check "Show Table Headers" for the table properties and Uncheck "Remove Duplicate Values" for the column Year
6. Save the document and publish to repository
7. Right-click the table & select "Publish Block", publishing it as a new Web Service
8. Check the web service - from Tools open "Manage BI Services" then navigate to the web service and select "Test web service". Operation GetReportBlock_Block1 should return a table with 3 columns & 15 rows (same table as seen in WebI report)
9. Create new Xcelsius dashboard with Web Service Connection importing the WSDL URL from the BI Service created in WebI earlier, changing method to "GetReportBlock_Block1"
10. Map the user name & output row cells to the spreadsheet (output should be 3 columns * 15 rows)
11. Set the connection to Refresh Before Components Are Loaded
12. Insert a grid to the workspace & map it to the range of cells that has the BI Service Output mapped to it
13. Preview the dashboard. Observe that data up to the 1st break only is displayed (ie 4 rows)
