1651457 - Cannot select data source in Crystal Reports for Enterprise

• Unable to use universe as data source
• Cannot select data source in Crystal Reports for Enterprise
• The drop-down option is greyed out.

• Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.0
• Business Intelligence 4.0

• Log on to Crystal Reports for Enterprise
• Create a new report and choose a data source

Observe: When the new data source window comes up, the connections in the drop down is greyed out

The connections have not been defined and the universes not published

Create the connection either in the Information Design Tool or create it directly in the CMC.  All connections have to be created in Enterprise before and then they will be available to be used in Crystal.
