Symptom

  • Need to delete all the failed instances from SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.X.
  • The system encountered the DST bug which leads to millions of failed instances being referenced in the platform as described in 1448881.
  • The EDST tool provided in the KB quoted above does not proceed im timely fashion to resolve the problem.
  • Rogue schedules have been left running for a long period and cannot be deleted through InfoView or CMC
