Symptom

  • Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) fails to start or gets stuck in starting state
  • Many logs generated in Business Objects logging directory (e.g. BI40_jvm_<pid>.log) containing:

  • Event Viewer Application log show many Error events for source SideBySide similar to the following

Dependent Assembly Microsoft.Windows.SystemCompatible,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df",type="win32",version="6.0.7600.16816" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
