Symptom

 Unable to Create OLAP connection Using MYSQL database in Crystal reports.

Environment

 

  • Crystal Reports 2008
  • MYSQL 4.0

Cause

 

  • This is Default behavior in Crystal Reports.

Resolution

  • Crystal reports do not support OLAP connection for MYSQL connections.
  • Crystal supports OLAP connections only on Oracle(Hyperion) and SQL Server.
