1658013 - User Cannot Create New Business Users Or Service Agents Using Initial User

The user is not able to create new Business Users or Service Agents with initial user details.

The initial user does not have the Business Partners or Business Partner Data work center, depending on the SAP solution.

The initial user of a new tenant is required to finish and deploy the scoping before he can create a Service Agent.

The access to Service Agent creation is possible only after confirming the milestone Scoping Completed. To do so, complete the steps below:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Click Edit Project Scope.
4. Select the relevant scope and click Finish.

After performing the above steps, the status of the First Implementation project in the Business Configuration work center is In Preparation. Now deploy the scope:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work centre.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Click Open Activity List.
4. Open the activity Confirm Milestone: Design Accepted and check the Design Accepted box, then click Confirm.
5. Close the activity.
6. Close the activity list.

A message is displayed in the middle of the Implementation Projects screen: “Confirm Milestone: Design Accepted in process.” Confirming the milestone can take up to 30 minutes to complete. Refresh the view periodically to check the status. Once finished, the message disappears, the Design Accepted milestone shows a green status and the First Implementation project status shows as Started. The initial user must log off and log back into the solution. Now the user has the Business Partners or Business Partner Data work center, depending on the SAP solution, in which he can create a Service Agent.

Note: if after doing all the above steps, the Initial User is still not be able to create a Service Agent, please report an case to SAP Support.
