1661757 - "ERROR: (CNV) data conversion failed. rc = 2" during MAIN_SHDCRE/EU_IMPORT2 phase

Symptom

  • During an upgrade using the Software Update Manager (SUM) . It stops because of an error during the MAIN_SHDRCRE/EU_IMPORT phase.
  • The log EX0000xx.<SID> shows an error similar to the following:
could not alloc memory (id: REPOCNV, size: 37743592)(CNV) ERROR: data conversion failed.  rc = 2
