1663375 - Cannot create users in BPC | SAP Knowledge Base Article

Symptom

When trying to create users in the BPC Admin client, you get the following error:

"Object variable or With block variable not set."

The dump file contains the following line:

OSoft.Services.Webservice.UserService.UserService.GetUsersForTreeView(String sParameter, String strContext)

Also, when trying to start the OSoftUserManage COM+ application, you get the error: "Error code 80004005 Unspecified error" and when trying to shut it down, you get another error: "Error code 80004002 No such interface supported".
