 Display numeric and alphanumeric values of a single column in Crystal Reports when using MSExcel as a data source.

Crystal Reports 2008

1. Create a MSExcel sheet with some string, number and alphanumeric  values.
2. Import the MSExcel sheet into Crystal Reports Designer.
3. Run the Report.

1. Open MS Excel sheet.
2. Insert a New column,
3. Select the column > right click and choose Format Cells
4. On the number tab choose Text
5. Click OK
6. Copy and paste special of values from the problematic column,

OR

Place a single apostrophe in front of the numbers.
