1665428 - Wrap text functionality is not available for components in Xcelsius.

Symptom

Wrap text functionality is not available for all components except Label in Xcelsius.

Environment

Xcelsius 2008.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Launch Xcelsius.
  2. Insert a component, for example Scorecard in the canvas.
  3. Insert a long summary text in Excel spreadsheet.
  4. Under Alignment section in Excel select Wrap Text option.
  5. In Properties of the component go to General and map the Display Data with the text in Excel. The text would not get wrapped in Xcelsius.
  6. In Xcelsius go to Appearance > Layout section in the properties of the component. Here wrap text option is not available.

 

Cause

The issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01550283.

Resolution

This issue is scheduled to be addressed in BI 4.2.
