Symptom

  • Web Intelligence report built on a BEx query that has a prompt name matches the BEx variable name, on refreshing data throws the following error:

"SQL generation failed. See your BusinessObjects administrator. [ERROR] [QueryGenerationServiceImpl::createQueryExecutionPlan] Generation of
Exec Plan failed Could not find answer to <prompt name> (WIS 00013)"

  • No error message if the prompt and BEx variable names don't match
