1666896 - Error "Specified RDBMS is invalid : SAP HANA database 1.0" when creating connection to HANA using BI4.0 Patch 2.8 or Patch 2.9

Symptom

  • The following error is generated: "Specified RDBMS is invalid : SAP HANA database 1.0" when trying to use a HANA connection and/or when testing the connection in IDT (Multi-Source Universe only) and consuming in Explorer.
  • This is a problem for multi-source Universes in Information Design Tool (IDT) only. Single-source Universes work without any problem.
  • This applies to any use of the (existing) connection in IDT Multi-Source Universe, WebI MSU or Explorer.
