1667748 - Error During Copying the Selected Form Template as New Variant

You had created a form template with ABC-XYZ (ABC represents Country and XYZ represents Language). Then, you deleted it for some reason. After that, you want to create a new template with the same ABC-XYZ by coping an existing template With A New Variant.  An error occurs, as: Error during copying the selected form template as a new variant.

1. Go to the User Application and Management work center
2. Choose the Business Flexibility view
3. Select Form Template Template Maintenance sub view
4. Then Copy by As New Variant

5. Then choose country XYZ and language XYZ(XYZ represents name of the country is line with language)

6. Choose OK

7. Select Publish button

8. Then you found the content still in ABC except the logo.

9. You delete the previous template then  Copy As New Variant again

an error occurs, as:error during copying the selected form template as a new variant.

After the form deletion localized XYZ and language XYZ,The deleted template  still in deleted forms,system treats the template still existing in system.Once   you  tried to copy it again,the error occur.

1. Go  to the User Application and Management work center
2. Choose the Business Flexibility view
3. Select Form Template Template Maintenance sub view
4. Show Deleted Forms,then choose Go
5. Choose the deleted template then select Version-Revert to
Once the template is reverted, you can upload the new template with to replace the existing variant. By following:

1. Go to the User Application and Management work center
2. Choose the Business Flexibility view
3. Select Form Template Template Maintenance sub view
4. Then Upload by choosing To Replace Existing Variant

Then, the new template will replace the original one.
