1667976 - Opening of a Web Intelligence Report never completes in Sharepoint Portal 2010 Integration

Symptom

  • Web Intelligence java panel starts and then continues loading indefinitely:

  • Http tracing shows http 401 (authentication) errors (e.g. via fiddler/http watch) for the URL http://<sharepointserver>:<port>/_vti_bin/AnalyticalReporting/ServerGateway.svc?wsdl
  • Accessing the URL http://<sharepointserver>:<port>/_vti_bin/AnalyticalReporting/ServerGateway.svc?wsdl directly via Internet Explorer requests a username/password but doesn't accept any OR returns an empty response
  • Other browsers may work correctly
