1668015 - Health Check: Internal employees without employment

Please follow the steps below to create a personnel file for each employee with no assigned employment. You can do this via activity Migration of Employee Data, which is available in work center Business Configuration.

• Go to work center Business Configuration, view Overview

• Click on link Activity List

• Click on chevron Integrate And Extend

• Search the list for activity Migration of Employee Data - <Country>

  The migration activity is country-specific, meaning there is one link for each country that is in scope of your system.

  E.g. if USA and Germany is in scope, you will find two links in the activity list:

  • Migration of Employee Data – USA

  • Migration of Employee Data - Germany

• Click on activity Migration of Employee Data <Country>

  E.g.in order to create the personnel file for a German employee; click on activity Migration of Employee Data – Germany. This will open the migration screen.

• The migration screen is offering many options. For further information, please see the documentation of activity Migration of Employee Data, which is available by clicking on link Before You Start right at the top of the screen.

• Among the migration options offered, there are two alternative ways to create the personnel file for an employee:

  • Migration of personnel administration using the migration tool

  • Manually create Personnel File using basic employee data

  We recommend the second alternative, i.e. to Manually create Personnel File for each employee, as this is a more simple and straightforward process in this particular scenario.
