1668117 - "Actual Work" Varies for a Project Team Member in Different tabs of a Project

You as a Project Manager observed that the Time Recorded by a project team member differs in Work tab and Team and Staffing tab.

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Select Projects view.
3. Highlight the Project and select Edit button and choose Team and Staffing option.
4. Here for the employee, the Time recorded by him/her is showing correctly.
5. Go to Project Plan tab and Gantt Chart sub tab.
6. Highlight the Project Task and go to Work tab.
7. Here for the same employee, the time recorded is 0 hours, which is different from the above value.

The employee recorded Time for correct Service for the respective Project Task but inside the Project, the wrong service is assigned to that employee. This can be verified as follows:

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Select Projects view.
3. Highlight the Project and select Edit button and choose Team and Staffing option.
4. Select Staff by Structure sub tab.
5. Go to the respective Project Task and expand the tree.
6. Here, you can observe that the Employee have wrong service assigned and also you can find that the actual time recorded by that employee is shown as Not Named (N.N.).

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Select Projects view.
3. Highlight the Project and select Edit button and choose Team and Staffing option.
4. Select Staff by Structure sub tab.
5. Go to the respective Project Task and expand the tree.
6. Highlight Employee and change the Service to a the actual service.
7. Now, you can check in the Work tab where the Time will show the correct assignment.
