Unable to display crystal report Crosstab text in HTML viewer, when it is placed over the text object

Environment

  • Crystal reports 2008 Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2, Service Pack 3, Service Pack 4, Service Pack 5
  • Business Objects 3.1 Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2, Service Pack 3, Service Pack 4, Service Pack 5

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Crystal report with a text object and Set a background color for the text object
  2. Create a cross-tab and place it on the text object
  3. Publish the report into Business Objects Enterprise
  4. Open Infoview -> In Preferences -> set the Web viewer for Crystal Reports
  5. Open the report

Cause

The issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01580065

Resolution

This issue has been adressed in FP3.7, FP4.1, FP5.1, SP6.
