Symptom
When configuring auditing section in Central Management Console (CMC) and enter below configuration
- Connection Name:
- Type:
- User Name:
- Password:
It throws the following error: "No CMS is configured as an auditor"
- Error in CMS logs:
|CMS_BI|(AuditDatabaseSubsystem_impl.cpp:218) DatabaseHolder - (AuditDB) - Caught retryable error with Code 262, Msg: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server][SQL Server]CREATE TABLE permission denied in database 'BI_Auditing'.. Number of retryable errors on this connection is 1 (at AuditDatabaseSubsystem_impl.cpp:3918)
|cms_BI|Unable to load audit database subsystem: Database access error. Reason [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server][SQL Server]CREATE TABLE permission denied in database 'BI_Auditing'.. Error creating Audit Event table.
