Symptom
- Performing a system copy;
- During export the database of a Distributed or High Availability (HA) NW 7.0 system, SAPinst fails in step getUsageTypes;
- In sapinst_dev.log, you see the following error in the end of the log:
sapinst_dev.log ERROR <timestamp>
FCO-00011 The step getUsageTypes with step key |NW_Export|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Java_Export_Dialog|ind|ind|ind|ind|5|0|getUsageTypes was executed with status ERROR .
- Additionally, a warning similar to the one below can be found before the error:
sapinst_dev.log WARNING <timestamp>

Note: There is a similar error message 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/engine/offline/OfflineToolStart' explained in documents below, but the installation scenario is different and so is the solution:
