1678419 - Deploying to Weblogic fails with error "Exception occured while downloading files"

Symptom

  • After generating the BOE webapp using wdeploy (predeploy) the webapp is deployed to Weblogic but the deployment fails during activation of changes.
  • The error reported by Weblogic is: 
Error occured while downloading files from admin server for deployment request <REQUEST ID>
  • The underlying error is
Deployment service servlet encountered an Exception while handling the deployment data transfer message for requestid <REQUEST ID> from server <SERVER>. Exception is: "File
'/opt/weblogic/domain/businessobjects/sap_bobje/enterprise_xi40/wdeploy/workdir/weblogic10/application/BOE' does not exist"."
