1678968 - CMS database corruption when using IBM DB2 9.5 with HADR

Symptom

There are multiple symptoms that you may see:

1. If the CMS DB is restored from hotbackup or the DB has failed over to another node, (the CMS is running and you attempt to log into CMC, InfoView, or client tool):

Unable to log into the environment after a restore from hot backup or after an IBM DB2 9.5 with HADR failover occurs, with error message:

"Account information not recognized: The property <underterminable property name> of info object with id number NNNNNN is not unique.  Table = 'CMS_InfoObjects6'. Column = 'SI_RUID+PARENTID'."

NNNNNN represents the SI_ID or object_ID of the account attempting log in.  This will affect all Authentication types.

2. It is possible that the CMS DB is restored from backup but may not start up successfully, you may see the following errors:

err: ERROR Failed to get cluster name. (STU00165)
err: Error description: Unknown error

err: ERROR Failed to get auditing data source name. (STU00164)
err: Error description: The data source name (DSN) could not be
extracted from the connection string.

3. If examining the IBM DB2 9.5 CMS_InfoObjects 6 table structure, you will notice that the Properties column contains all zeros.
