Symptom

  • Error: 'Class /CRYSTAL/MDX_READ_DIMENSIONS,Method INIT'
  • When refreshing a report in Crystal Reports based off a BEx Query, it generates the error.
  • After applying an update on an SAP BW System, it generates the following error in SPAU:

        'Class /CRYSTAL/MDX_READ_DIMENSIONS, Method INIT Field "USE_RSRMDX" is unknown.
         It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement.'
