1679454 - How to access DB2 CMS or audit database installed with BI 4.0 on linux machine?

Symptom

  • Need to know how to access DB2 audit database from the Central Management Console(CMC) in BI 4.0
  • Cannot access DB2 from the CMC because of unknown username/password
  • Error in the CMC : "No CMS is configured as an auditor"
  • Running reposcan.sh returns the following error:
    • Initializing... RepoScan error: BusinessObjects Enterprise CMS: Unable to connect to the CMS system database ""<databasename>"". Reason: [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30082N  Security processing failed with reason "42" ("ROOT CAPABILITY REQUIRED").  SQLSTATE=08001
