1682175 - DAO Error Code: Oxc76 when connecting SAP Crystal Reports to Excel

• SAP Crystal Report is connecting to Excel using DAO
• When the Excel file has more than 8 sheets the following error is thrown:

Database Connector Error: 'DAO Error Code: Oxc76
Source: DAO.Database
Description: Too many fields defined.

• There is a limit of 255 fields that can be used in a query when the datasource is Excel/Access
• This is a Microsoft Jet database engine limitation
