1684235 - After restarting the server the Central Management Server (CMS) does not come up

Symptom

  • The machine was restarted and the CMS does not come up.
  • Attempting to recreate the connection information to the CMS repository returns errors and does not complete. Tracing on the CMS server shows the following error:
2012/02/13 13:24:13.353|==| | | 4192|4364| |||||||||||||||SIServerController:run: Fail to initialize or uninitialize.  Reason is The root server reported an error Initialization Failure. (Reason: The library named securitysubsystem could not be loaded. The system error message is Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library securitysubsystem and failed because of error: [The specified procedure could not be found.  
]. Second tried to load library C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\securitysubsystem.dll and failed because of error: [The specified procedure could not be found.
