Symptom

  • Formulas containing number objects show wrong result within WebI reports in SAP BI 4.0
  • Formulas such as UserResponse or Min or Max do not display the object correctly when it contains more than 1 digit number value
  • Formulas result display scientific notation / exponential number such as 2.015e1 when used within a cell
  • Formulas result display #ERROR when used within the report
  • Formulas result displays same as above within a report Instance when Format is XLS (schedule a report or a Publication)
  • Above behavior when using a non English Preferred Viewing Locale
