1689978 - ESI - Problem with Simple Transformations when executing Web Service calls (XSLT exception)

Symptom

A SOAP based web service for ABAP does not work after an upgrade. One of the following errors occurs:

  • The system reports: CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT:XSLT exception,
  • Dump in ST22: Syntax error in Program '/1SAI/XXX' Method: IF_SXML_SERIALIZABLE~SERIALIZE of program CL_SXMLP_DATA_ST,
  • Simple transformations are not active.
