1691081 - System triggers error message "Value for identified stock missing" while confirming a make task

When trying to confirm  Make Task, error appears "Value for identified stock missing".

However in the product master data for product ID XYZ, you maintained Identified Stock Type as Optional Specified Stock.*XYZ refers to product id

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Production Control work center.
2. Go to the Task Control view.
3. Select the Task and choose button Confirm.
4. Go to the Confirmation tab.
5. Select Save button.

Error message appears "Value for identified stock missing"

The identified stock is optional only if there is no Product Specification. In this case, a product specification is used, hence the identified stock becomes mandatory.

Kindly maintain Identified stock during confirmation of  Make Task as it is mandatory to maintain when Product Specification is used.

Note:This error is valid for all logistics and production process.
