1693295 - The Content Creator role and Spend Performance Management 3.0.

Symptom

The Content Creator role does not pertain to Spend Performance Management(SPM) 3.0 environment like it did for 2.1. In SPM 3.0 all “canned” pre-configured SAP SPM delivered reports, detailed reports, dashboards, etc… cannot be modified because the Content Creator role has been removed from this version of the product.

This is a departure from SPM 2.1, where the Content Creator role could be used modify the canned reports provided by SAP. (Although not a recommended “Best Practice”).

In SPM 3.0, if clients attempt to modify the any of the pre-configured delivered objects (ie. reports, detailed reports, dashboards, etc), authorization errors will occur.
