Symptom

  • DSConfig.txt corrupt
  • Job server configuration doesn't save to DSConfig.txt
  • Job server configuration is saved to al_machine_info table
  • Tag names in DSConfig.txt are misspelled
    • For example, [Applitttions] instead of [Applications]
      • For example, [AL_Jobeervice] instead of [AL_JobService]
    • Data Services installation done on an unsupported operating system version
    • DSConfig.txt is corrupt again after manually correcting and then configuring Job server
