1696104 - OCI call <OCISessionBegin> for connection <SID> failed: <ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied> - SAP Information Steward 4.0

Symptom

  • In Data Insight when clicking on calculate  score  for a rule , following error occurs: Task Rule <data Time> in project <project_name> has failed. View log file for more information.
  • The rule log file shows this error: 
    "No JobServer in the Server Group: ISJobServerGroup available to run the job at com.acta.jobserver.DIServerGroup.getAvailableJobServer (DIServerGroup.java:394)"
  • The server event log for Data Services ($LINK_DIR/log) produces this additional error:
    "OCI call <OCISessionBegin> for connection <SID> failed: <ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied>.(BODI-850242)"
