1696627 - Labels are missing for Label Based Menu component for Dashboard Design 4.0.

Symptom

The label values are missing for the Label Based Menu component with Horizontal orientation.

Environment

  • SAP Dashboard Design 4.0 SP02 Patch 7

    • Reproducing the Issue

    1. Open Dashboard Design.
    2. Create new Dashboard.
    3. Select the component Label Based Menu component.
    4. Map the data for Labels and Destination in the General tab.
    5. Keep the Orientation as Horizontal.
    6. Select the tab Behavior.
    7. Check the option Open Animation.
    8. Click on Preview.

    Note:

  • This component works in Xcelsius 2008 SP4.
  • All the label values are displayed when the orientation is Vertical.

    • Cause

    The issue has been identified as a defect and escalated to Product Group under ADAPT01604571.

    Resolution

    Install Patch 11 for Dashboard Design 4.0 SP02.
