1697124 - SQL Anywhere database name for CMS or Audit database must be unique while installing BOE XI 3.1.

Symptom

  • During installation of SP5 full build on Unix if we provide the CMS User Name OR SQL Anywhere CMS Database Name and SQL Anywhere Audit Database Name which is not unique on your network. i.e., If multiple system has a server with the same name then the installation would be prompted with the message Dbspawn error: "Database server not found"

This issue is prompted if your Host entries are not proper.

  • During installation of SP5 full build on windows if we provide same "CMS DB user name" on your network then the installation would be prompted with the message "Central management server not found".
