Symptom
- Observer Auditing has stopped working and no data is getting inserted to Audit DataStore (ADS)
- CMS.exe (Central Management Server) is using a lot of CPU, seen in task manager
- Auditing thread utilization is 100%
- Audit*.txt files are building up in the Auditing folder and are not being emptied / deleted / removed.
- When launching Central Management Console(CMC) >> Auditing >> under Status Summary, you see the following warning message:
