  • How to run an installation of Data Services comprising multiple DVDs: 51041259_part1.exe and 51041259_part2.rar

Environment

  • Data Services 4.0 SP2 (14.0.2.0)
  • Information Platform Services
  • AIX

Reproducing the Issue

  • Download information platform services Parts one and Two from the Service market place to a location of choice

Cause

File download is split into 51041259_part1.exe and 51041259_part2.rar

Resolution

  • Once extraction is complete, run the executable, it will extract content from the second file automatically
