1699149 - Goods and Services Receipts Approval Process

When you post a Goods and Services Receipt, the status is changed to In Approval instead of Released. You expect the manager of the employee responsible for the goods and services receipt to be the approver. But the Manager is unable to see the approval task in the work items.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Managing My Area work center.
2. Select the Approvals view.
3. The Goods and Services Receipt is not listed.

The Goods and Services Receipt (GSR) approval task is routed to the manager of the cost object that is maintained at item level.

For example, the GSR is created with two line items: First line item is maintained with account assignment as Cost Center. Second line item is maintained with account assignment as Project Task

Then the approval task will be routed to the manager of the Cost Center and also the Person Responsible assigned in a Project.
