Symptom

  • Job that extracts from SQL  Server 2008 via Data Direct 6.0 on Unix / Linux hangs
  • Cannot create the dataflow.
  • The al_engine (1) shows up then dies, but no dump file.
  • The tracelog shows just starting job but not dataflow.
  • The monitor log and error log are created but are empty.
