1699721 - 'Error in the Data Engine. Error when loading data in the data engine.' - FC

Symptom

When opening the BFC (BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation) Windows or Web client the Finance.exe process uses a large amount of memory which can be seen in the Microsoft Windows Task Manager> Processes. In some cases over 1 GB of memory is used and can cause the error message 'Error in the Data Engine. Error when loading data in the data engine.' to be generated.

Environment

BusinessObjecst Financial Consolidation (BFC) version 7.5 SP16 and lower

All Windows versions but depending on whether or not the Operating System is 32 or 64 bit you may not receive the error though you will still experience the high memory usage.
