1701318 - Upgrade Management Tool timeout while migrating Crystal Reports

Symptom

  • Upgrade Management Tool (UMT) is very slow while migrating Crystal Reports.
  • Upgrade management tool  logs include following errors:
    • Refreshing Crystal Report object "XXX.rpt" failed. The server with kind rptappserver returned an error result. Failed to refresh the report object properties. Failed to read data from report file c:\TEMP\tmpreport\~cic406e122c2e23224.rpt.Reason: Unable to launch <Install directory>\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\ReportAdd program to add report to the system.
    • A timeout occurred. Failed to update the objects within 600 seconds.
