1701696 - Adaptive Processing Server crashes repeatadly due to a problem with indexing

Adaptive Processing Server (APS) crashes repeatedly. Java heap size error related to indexing can be found in the APS logs:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space "PSS (20120214130021): Thread: 1/1" daemon

Increasing memory allocated for APS as per the KBA 1630185, does not fix the issue.
