1701828 - "ITEM" of type "SCROLL_CONTAINER_ITEM" could not be generated

Symptom

Symptom 1:
While running queries in the BEx Query Designer, the proper result set is not obtained but the following error message is occuring after upgrading to a SP greater than SP05(Release 730):
com.sap.ip.bi.base.exception.BIBaseRuntimeException: "ITEM" of type "SCROLL_CONTAINER_ITEM" could not be generated
at com.sap.ip.bi.webapplications.runtime.impl.page.processor.PageStateProcessor.createPageObject(PageStateProcessor.java:1992)
at com.sap.ip.bi.webapplications.runtime.impl.page.processor.PageCommandProcessor.doCreateItemCommand(PageCommandProcessor.java:825)
at com.sap.ip.bi.webapplications.runtime.impl.page.Page.doCreateItemCommand(Page.java:5521)

Symptom 2:
When executing the Web Template in the web side, a variable screen page appears and following error message appears on the top of this variable screen page in Release 7.31:
"ITEM" of type "SCROLL_CONTAINER_ITEM" could not be generated
