Symptom

 

Imported recurring schedules fail with the error "File fb46d065b195f0.rpt not found on File Repository Server."

Environment

 

  • Crystal Report server 2008
  • Crystal Reports 2011

Reproducing the Issue

On Crystal Reports Server 2008

  1. Create a document
  2. Create a recurring schedule that runs every 5 Minutes
  3. Confirm it is working
On Crystal Reports 2011
  1. Launch the UMT
  2. Select Complete Migration or Incremental Migration
  3. Make sure to include the test report
  4. Import all objects and needed dependencies
  5. Wait for 5 Minutes (until the instance was scheduled at least once)
  6. Check the History of the Source Object, see the instance spawned by the recurring schedule failed

Cause

  • The filename of the rpt file was changed during import and SI_FILES of the original instance does reflect that. However, all recurring schedules still point to the filename of the source environment in their SI_FILES section.
  • The issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01593059

Resolution

 This issue has been addressed by Service Pack 2 patch 13
