1702620 - Unable to Change the Sales Organizations for Materials Using Mass Change

You have requirement to change the Sales Organization for a set of materials but you’re not able to perform the change using Mass Change functionality, since the default row for Sales Organization column is greyed out.

1. Go to Product Data work center.
2. Select Materials view.
3. Select list of Materials and select Mass Change button.
4. In the Mass Change screen, select Sales in Show field.

It is not possible to change the Sales Organization for Materials using Mass Change because, each Material may have multiple Sales Organizations with different status and hence, assigning a Sales Organization and activating the status should be done manually for each Material.

The system works as designed.
