Symptom

The JCMON tool fails to run on SAP J2EE servers on netweaver release 7.1 and higher and the below output is generated. This note is not valid for older SAP releases (like 6.40, 7.00) where the JCMON is still an official tool for system administration:

"JCMon is an internal tool for interactive usage. Suspending it or running it in the background may have unexpected and undesirable effects. Do you understand these restrictions? (y/n):"
