Symptom

The font character spacing is different than that set in the Crystal Reports designer

Environment

  • Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a report
  2. Add a Text Box and enter any string
  3. Set font size as 36
  4. Set Character Spacing Exactly as 57pts
  5. Compare the CR Designer viewer and the Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 web viewer

Cause

  • The issue has been escalated for a resolution

Resolution

The issue is resolved in Service Pack 3 for Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010
