Symptom

  • Installation problems with a downloaded patch or product install
  • Files missing from the downloaded patch or product install
  • Incorrect permissions or other rights related issues when using a downloaded patch or product install
  • @LongLink appears in the extraction path
  • tar: directory checksum error appears after the extraction completes
  • Checksum error during the unrar process stating that a .rar file could not be found
