1707326 - How-to Change Released List Price Product's Supplier

User creates a new list price for Product XXX. So you change the Valid To date of the old list price from Day A to Day B to disable this list price. But when on this day, Valid To date change back the Day A automatically.

(Here XXX refers Product, A and B referring a Day)

You can follow the below steps to reproduce the error.

1. Go to work center Inventory Valuation and select view List Prices.
2. Choose New – List price.
3. Input new supplier name and other information, click Next.
4. Input product information and choose valid form Day B.
5. Tick the Release field and click Finish.

Then search for the old list price for Product XXX.

1. Go to work center Inventory Valuation and select view List Prices.
2. Change the Valid To date to Day B and click Save.
3. On Day B, you check this list price; you will find Valid To date change back to Day A.

The process to change list price is wrong. When you try to update a released list price, the system creates a new list price by default. You do not need to create a new list price by yourself.

To update the list price, please follow the below steps:

1. In the Product Portfolio work center, select List Prices view,
2. Search for the released list price and choose Edit.
3. If you want to update the list price description and/or price scales, check the indicator Change Past List Price.
4. If you want to update the validity period of the list price along with the description or price scales, uncheck the Change Past List Price indicator.
5. Update relevant information and click Save.

A new list price is created and released. The Valid To date in the old list price is automatically set to the date prior to the Valid From date in the new list price.

If you want to change the supplier, then you need to cancel release and create a new one.

1. In the Product Portfolio work center, select List Prices view,
2. Search for the released list price and select Cancel Release.
