1707408 - Error:"Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library libclntsh.a(shr.o) ... [INS00104]" when installing BI 4.x with Oracle database on AIX machine

Symptom

  • Unable to install BI 4.x with Oracle database on AIX machine
  • Unable to start the servers - Central Management Server (CMS) shuts down
  • The below errors are generated when the CMS shuts down:
    33007
     Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library libclntsh.a(shr.o) and failed because of error: [Could not load module shr.o. 
    System error: No such file or directory]. Second tried to load library libc.a(shr.so and failed because of error: [Could not load module . System error: No such file or directory].
    35101 The root server reported an error Initialization Failure. (Reason: Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. 
    First tried to load library libclntsh.a(shr.o) and failed because of error: [Could not load module shr.o. System error: No such file or directory]. 
    Second tried to load library liblibclntsh.a(shr.so and failed because of error: 
    [Could not load module . System error: No such file or directory].Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library libclntsh.a(shr.o) and failed because of error: [Could not load module shr.o. System error: No such file or directory]. Second tried to load library liblibclntsh.a(shr.so and failed because of error: [Could not load module . System error: No such file or directory]. Error initializing database wrapper environment for DatabaseSubsystem. ).
